Late Sunday, Associate Press writer Tim Reynolds broke news that will greatly impact the Miami Hurricanes' 2015 season:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-partner="tweetdeck"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">BREAKING: Miami says RB Gus Edwards out for season with left foot injury. School 1st believed matter was minor; more tests showed otherwise.</p>— Tim Reynolds (@ByTimReynolds) <a href="https://twitter.com/ByTimReynolds/status/638167513134600196">August 31, 2015</a></blockquote>

Talented Junior RB Gus Edwards, the presumed starter at the position, may be lost for the year.
Reynolds' report was corroborated by the Christy Cabrera South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Susan Miller Degnan of the Miami Herald.
While Miami has plenty of talent in the backfield with Joseph Yearby, Mark Walton, and Trayone Gray, losing Edwards is undoubtedly a blow to the Hurricanes team.
More on this in the coming days.
