Statement from University of Miami Athletics:
A University of Miami football student-athlete suffered an injury during practice and was transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons.

Around noon on Wednesday, there was word that Al Golden was unavailable for the ACC Coaches' Conference Call.
ACC moderator: "We apologize for not having coach Golden on, but it was a situation that could not be avoided."

Minutes later, reports hit twitter that multiple players had been airlifted from practice due to injury.
