Earlier this afternoon it was reported that both injured WRs Braxton Berrios (knee) and Stacy Coley (hamstring) will not play this Friday Night against Florida Atlantic.
So the @CanesFootball news that just broke: Golden says injured WRs Coley & Berrios "officially" out for FAU game.

Al Golden rules out WRs Stacy Coley (left hamstring) and Braxton Berrios (left knee) for Friday at FAU.

Earlier in the week Golden assessed that UM had "dodged" a bullet with Berrios and that he did not need surgery.
And Coley was actually given a shot at playing this week, before being ruled out today.
With both out of action, the depth at WR takes a serious hit.
However, Rashawn Scott (100 yards Vs BCU) was QB Brad Kaaya's favorite target on the outside, and TE Standish Dobard looked good over the middle.
Additionally the 'Canes boast good depth at the slot with both Herb Waters and Malcolm Lewis more than capable of making up for the loss of Berrios.
In the absence of Coley look for more reps for 6'5 freshman Lawrence Cager and Tyre Brady (suspended for game 1).
Long story short, the Hurricanes should be fine this week. FAU's secondary is not exactly Revis and Cromartie either.
However, both players will be keys to the offense as the season progresses, so hopefully they can both return before the schedule gets exceedingly more difficult, starting game 3 Vs Nebraska.
No need to panic just yet though.
