The 'Canes jump up a few spots, as a few teams that were ahead of them including their next opponent (UVA tomorrow 7PM in Charlottesville) suffered losses.
It really is a testament to how far this program has grown that they are ranked this high at this point of the season.
But it will only matter if they keep winning.
