Bruce, who has 26 offers and could probably enroll at any school in America and they'd find a scholarship for him, re-committed to Miami over Ohio State, the other team presumed to be at the top of his list.

This story had many twists and turns. Bruce visited Columbus in the fall, and whispers started that he might be looking around. Then, after Al Golden's firing, Miami WR coach Kevin Beard, who coached Bruce for 2 years in high school and is known to be incredibly close with the 5'8" playmaker, was let go. Bruce said he was fully committed to Miami, not a single coach, but that didn't stop speculation from swirling that that may not have been the case.
After moving up his official visit from January 29th to January 22nd, Bruce was on campus in Coral Gables last weekend, and reportedly had an amazing visit. After meeting with family, Bruce's mom said the decision was unanimous between those with a vote -- Bruce, his mom, and his uncle. And, we just recently learned what that decision was: Sam Bruce will be staying home to play for the Miami Hurricanes.
This is another big recruiting win for Mark Richt and staff, and they will look to ride this momentum to a strong close on National Signing Day (February 3rd), and let Bruce use his many talents to help the Canes win games in years to come.
