Miami was able to add a talented player to their 2016 class today, when ATH Jovani Haskins committed to the Hurricanes.

Haskins, a HS Quarterback who projects best at WR or TE at the collegiate level, is a nice pick up for Miami. This is a big step in adding size to the receiving corps, which has many players on the roster and commits who are 6'0" or under.

Whether on the outside or in the slot, Haskins has the size and physical ability to be an impact player for the Canes in coming years. He will obviously need to develop skills as a receiver or tight end, but many have made this transition from quarterback successfully.

Haskins joins Sam BruceDionte MullinsLatrell Williams, and Michael Irvin II as WR/TE commits in this class. He chose Miami over West Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Highlights are below (but remember, we're not taking him at QB. Look at the size/movement skills, not the position he's playing):

Welcome to the U, Jovani!
