Pretty slow day at the office for the Canes this past Sunday. Although it was quiet, there are still a few things to point out.
Andre Johnson
With every passing year, Johnson continues to keep his name in the headlines and on the stat sheet.

Johnson only finished with two catches for 13 yards, but this touchdown grab gave the Titans an early lead in the first half and never looked back (sorry to all my Dolfans). The former first round pick continues to produce despite his age, and its always great to watch a former Cane still go out and dominate.
Frank Gore
Another timeless vet.
Gore didn’t do too much damage on the in-game stat sheet, but he put his mark on an all-time list.
Frank Gore just passed Jim Brown for ninth all time rushing yards. Amazing career! @CanesFootball @proCanes

12,368...and counting.
That’s A LOT of rushing yards, and something tells me Gore isn’t done just yet. The former Cane great needs roughly 400 yards to pass Tony Dorsett for eighth all-time. With his track record and well more than half of the season let, Gore should be able to achieve that mark.
Travis Benjamin
He’s been a regular in these weekly posts. Benjamin is a legit receiver...when he has a QB. Remember, he was on the Browns for most of his career...

catching 7-of-11 targets. #NFLU #WRU
I’m starting to think Philip Rivers is trusting Benjamin more and more. And with his speed, he’s capable of taking it to the house every time he touches the ball.

It was quiet on the Canes front this week, maybe they were upset over Saturday. Who knows? Anyway, that’s all, folks...see you next week!
