Gonna keep it short on this fine Friday morning. Here goes:

Carolina on my mind

North Carolina is coming to HRS to face the Canes on Saturday afternoon. The Tar Heels won the 2015 installment of this matchup 59-21, so there’s a measure of payback needed, and needed soon.

Here’s a look at some of the things UNC will run vs Miami, from our resident coach Justin Dottavio aka Ironman Football:

Devin Tucker has your matchup of the week, just like he does every week

Need to get hype for the game? Josh Forbey’s trailer has you covered.

We’ll get into the picks and predictions later, but between those 3 things, and the articles I linked from yesterday, I’m ready to hit the field already.

Mark Richt Show

Yes, Mark Richt has a TV show weekly. Here’s Daniel Tummeley’s recap of the show, and you can watch the full video right below:

Alternate Legend of the U jerseys coming eventually?

Y’all know I love me some jerseys! And, to that end, I feel duty bound to pass along this report by Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post, wherein Mark Richt says alternate jerseys could be coming in the future:

When he was at Georgia, Richt went with black alternates a couple times. I think it averaged out to less than 1 time a year. Other than that? Traditional uniforms.

I love the updated uniform design. I love the throwback feel. And, in due time, I’m sure I’ll love the alternates as well.

Quick Hitters

Time to finish strong

Mike Pinckney was named one of Pro Football Focus’ top True Freshmen in CFB yet again. He’s up to 9th from 10th nationally last week.

Wanna see Brad Kaaya’s passing chart from the first 5 games of the year? Of course you did.

An anonymous NFL exec named Canes WR Stacy Coley as one of the players that has surprised him the most (in a good way) so far this CFB season

ProCanes CB Artie Burns is movin’ on up.

After having their game against LSU rescheduled, UF AD Jeremy Foley said “UF never runs from, or dodges anybody”. LMAOOOOOOOO. I knew UF was a joke, but I didn’t know Foley was their lead comedian.

UF is a bunch of losers. hahahahahaha He really said that with a straight face.

Pure comedy.

I’ll transition from that laughable bullshit statement to remind you that if you missed yesterday’s news and notes, they’re just a click away

That’s it for today. LOLOLOL Jeremy Foley. You tried it. hahahahahahahahahaha

Hope that laugh started your day off on a good note! Seeya!
