HUGE news Miami Hurricanes Hoops fans.
In perhaps one of the biggest signings in UM Hoops History, Coach L and staff got a massive verbal commit this morning from 5 star SG Lonnie Walker of Reading, PA.

Before we get to what this means, let’s look at some of his highlights:
With today being the last day of the early signing period, Walker likely puts ink to paper and guarantees his spot in Coral Gables.
He’s joining what was already a Top 20 class that features sensational 4 star PG Chris Lykes, and developing 4 star big Deng Gak.
With the addition of Walker, Miami’s class of 2017 likely jumps into the Top 10.
Let that sink in a second.
Larranaga and Co. brought in two Top 30 talents in 2016 in Bruce Brown and Dewan Huell.
Not with a very young core of players including talented wing Anthony Lawrence Jr., Huell, Brown, and Dejan Vasiljevich, they are adding 3 very highly touted players for next season.
And you have a master chef in Jim Larranaga cooking it all up with some serious ingredients now.
Miami has been to 2 Sweet 16’s since Coach L took over, and this year’s team is dripping with potential.
Now they they are beating clubs like Kansas and Kentucky to recruits (yes you read that right) it’s clear the program is going no where but up.
