A Parkland (FL) Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS product, Gaynor is 6’4” 282lbs and profiles as an interior lineman at Miami. He could even be on track to start here down the line.
Local interior lineman Corey Gaynor just committed to Miami. Potential center of the future
— Peter Ariz (@PeterAriz) November 29, 2016
The connection between Miami and Gaynor happened rapidly. After previously evaluating him through his senior season, Miami offered Gaynor on Saturday at the regular season finale vs Duke. Gaynor tweeted his pleasure on being offered by Miami that day, and took just over 48 hours to flip from Minnesota to Miami.
Gaynor becomes the 4th offensive lineman committed to Miami in the 2017 recruiting class. He joins 4-star OT Navaughn Donaldson and 3-stars T Zalon’tae Hillery and G/T Zach Dykstra as the OL commits in this class. With his commitment, Gaynor becomes the 21st player in Miami’s recruiting class.
What kind of player is Miami getting in Gaynor, the potential center of the future per Peter Ariz? Check out the HUDL highlights below and see for yourself.
