With the conclusion of the regular season for college football, more attention will be turned to the NFL, and hopefully that brings more excitement and great performances from our favorite ProCanes.
Allen Hurns
Here’s a name we haven’t heard in quite some time...welcome back, Allen!
Allen Hurns touchdown is GOOD but it looks like he injured his hamstring! Jaguars up 21-20. https://t.co/WD9s1IWBIw

This was a great catch and run by Hurns to give the Jags a temporary lead over the Bills. Unfortunately, Hurns was hurt on the play and did not return to the game. Let’s all hope that it isn’t too serious and doesn’t keep him out for an extended period. The 12-yard touchdown reception was his only reception for the game.
Clive Walford
Another name that hasn’t been on here for a while! Although Clive has been relatively quiet this year in a season that was supposed to serve as his “breakout campaign,” he has essentially matched his numbers be posted all of last season. In the Raiders matchup vs. the Panthers, QB David Carr connected with Walford to tie the game up in the fourth quarter:
Top 10 Most Athletic Plays (Week 12):

10. @OGSlick_46
9. @QuincyEnunwa
8. @jbbigbear
7-1. https://t.co/3pmGJ5CKbd
Walford’s grab was featured as the No. 10 most athletic plays of the week, and it was a good one. Walford finished the game with 3 catches for 43 yards and one touchdown.
Frank Gore
Stop me if you’ve heard this name before....TIMELESS! Gore didn’t have the best performance against Pittsburgh on Thanksgiving, but I found one stat pretty interesting:
#proCane #Colts RB Frank Gore's 87 Consecutive Start. Longest streak since 2005 Curtis Martin.

Incredible.
Ufomba Kamalu
Here’s a new name for you guys, the former JUCO product and Miami defensive end is finally getting his chance in Houston!

Kamalu, a rookie, was promoted due to an injury. Kamalu is finally getting his shot, and hopefully he makes the most of it! I’m sure this defensive staff/system will bode well for him compared to his college defense....

That’s all for the week! Be back soon and GO CANES!
