ProCanes NFL Recap: Week 13

Updates on your favorite ProCanes and their performances from this past week.

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

We’ll start this one off with the only ProCanes touchdown from Week 13...

Jimmy Graham

The second-best tight end in the league, that’s right, the second best, had a good day in the Seahawks 40-7 beat down of the Carolina Panthers. The All-Pro TE had six catches for 63 yards, including this touchdown grab to put that game on ice:

Graham outplayed his partner ProCane tight end Greg Olsen, who finished the game with three catches for 30 yards. But make no mistake, Olsen is still the best TE in football. Don’t believe me?

It’s great to see Graham coming on strong in the second half of the season as he got off to a very slow start.

Frank Gore

I’m gonna say it again, and I will every time...TIMELESS!!!

Gore rushed for 79 yards on 20 carries on Monday Night Football vs. the Jets. His performance moved him further up on all-time NFL career rushing list.

Gore never ceases to amaze. For someone who had multiple knee injuries and isn’t a burner by any means, this is a phenomenal feat. Congrats, Frank!

Ladarius Gunter

Gunter is a name that hasn’t been featured much in these weekly write-ups, but he has come on strong lately for the Packers. The second-year ProCane has started all but one game this season, and is apparently learning from his early season struggles.

Gunter was the highest-graded player in the Packers win over the Texans, earned a score of 92. Gunter is still looking for his first interception on the season, but continuing his strong play will surely earn him one soon.

Antrel Rolle

No, Rolle isn’t making an NFL comeback. Instead, the former Super Bowl champion talks about retirement, his illustrious career, and his memories of the late Sean Taylor in a recent post by The Players’ Tribune.

Definitely worth a read, Canes fan. Sometimes, I forget how special of a player Rolle was in his prime. To you, Antrel, we bid you a formal farewell, and congrats on a great career!

That’s all for this week! See you guys for Week 14 and GO CANES!
