2016 QB commit Jack Allison is the #3 QB in this class, and #1 in the State of Florida, according to Scout.com.
He is a consensus 4 star prospect by all of the major services.
Allison stands at 6'5 and is listed at 195. He'll need to put some weight on for the next level, but the Palmetto H.S. product's height is prototypical.
His arm strength is unquestioned, and his quick release is impressive,
He can stand some improvement in his footwork. But given how young of a signal caller he is, that's something you can expect to see in the coming years.
Best of all, Allison has been committed to UM since June 2014, never wavered, and clearly bleeds orange and green.
Here are some of his impressive highlights:
And who can forget this pretty grab by Dionte Mullins from Allison in the Under Armour All America game
Summary: Allison is likely going to be terrific at this level. It's too soon to anoint him the heir apparent to Brad Kaaya, but he has to be the favorite. You can't teach his arm strength, his size, or his feel for the game. Once he improves some of the technical stuff, sky is the limit. Plus when you talk to the kid, he has the same football junky mentality of Kaaya. And we've all seen how well that has worked out. If UM can make the smooth transition from BK to JA that is expected in the coming years, "QB U" will once again be alive and well.
