Palmer is a very nice player, who can man both wing spots as well as play a little point.
At 6'4, he excels at taking the ball to the basket.
His jumper was no where near expected though his sophomore season. Palmer shot just 28% from three last season.
As a result his minutes dropped (3.5 ppg in just under 12 minutes).
Looking ahead to 2016-17, with Ja'Quan Newton, Davon Reed, transfer Rashad Muhammad, and incoming 5 star recruit Bruce Brown among others all competing for minutes next year, you can understand why Palmer would look for another opportunity.
We wish the young man the best of luck at his next school.
