The Mark Richt football camp got its first commit on Thursday afternoon when 2019 LB/DE Jesiah Pierre committed to the U.

Just a rising sophomore, Pierre is already 6'3" 210lbs. He is an early take because of his advance physicality and athleticism. Pierre obviously loves Miami; there's a story that both he and his mother burst into tears when he received his offer.
Obviously, with some 2 1/2+ years until his signing day, there's a long time before Pierre will officially become a Hurricane. But that doesn't mean Canes fans shouldn't be excited about this commitment. Pierre should very well be a top 10 player in Florida by his senior year. Pierre is the first 2019 commit for the Hurricanes.
