WR - 5'8 180 Freshman - Ft, Lauderdale, Fl
40 time is listed in the 4.5 range, but game speed appears to be even faster.
Has ridiculous lateral movement, and cut back ability:
His swag, acceleration, and ability to high point the ball on receptions are reminiscent of former 'Canes great Santana Moss.

Should be an immediate contributor on offense and special teams.
Summary: Sam Bruce is what I like to call a pure football player. He'll block, he'll make tough catches in traffic, he'll return kicks, and probably do whatever the coaches ask of him. That being said, in the short term he is probably backing up guys like Stacy Coley and Braxton Berrios while he gets acclimated with Coach Richt's offense. Nonetheless I expect them to game plan to get him at least a few touches every game. Bubble screens, reverses, and a few fly patterns a contest for deep shots should all be expected. Bruce will be a home run hitter from get go, even if he doesn't see a ton of targets as a freshman. I also expect him to get a crack in the return game, where he might be the most explosive ST player this program has had in a long time (no offense to Corn Elder who is pretty good himself). Long term, Bruce should develop into a very good and explosive all-around WR. Despite his shorter stature, he is willing to go across the middle, and is a thick and study 180 pounds. For 2016 look for Bruce to haul in 10-20 catches, and find the end zone a few times on both receptions and returns. I see no way that UM redshirts him, he's just too good.
