On Saturday afternoon, the University of Miami released a statement saying that DE Al-Quadin Muhammad and LB Jermaine Grace have both been permanently dismissed from the Canes football program for violating NCAA rules.

This is a huge blow for the Canes defense. Both Muhammad and Grace were slated to be starters on Miami's defense, and have the high level of talent that could help win multiple games.
Obviously, this is a bad break for those players, but Miami will look to move forward in their permanent absence.
