ACC Power Rankings: Your source for all things #GoACC

During the college football season, State of the U will be your destination for all things #GoACC. We'll bring you the latest news, watch info, and power rankings, all the tools necessary to keep tabs on our conference foes.

Before we hop into the ACC Power Rankings, we would like to introduce some changes. Instead of just offering rankings and game summaries as we have in the past, our goal this season is to make the Power Rankings your thread for all things ACC. Below we’ve laid out all the changes, and we’re hoping you’ll enjoy them just as much as we will.

During the college football season, these rankings will serve several purposes.

This is your ACC hangout, ‘Canes fans. Own it. There are many like it, but this one is yours. Debate rankings. Offer your own thoughts. With your input, together we’ll perfect this thing.

However, with this being your ACC playground, there are some rules you must follow:

  • Critique these rankings against others, but do not say we stole them from somewhere else. These rankings already take enough time to compose, we will not waste your time (and ours) by skimming others.
  • Get with these comments. Converse with others. Opposing fans will come here, so it’s very important that you greet them with an orange and green smile.
  • If we rank your team lower than you believe they should be it’s not because we hate you. I mean, we might hate you. There’s a handful of you that we really can’t stand. But we promise, it’s definitely not because of that.
  • And have fun with these posts. Seriously. This is your place, own it.

These posts will serve to familiarize yourselves with the Hurricanes’ conference opponents.

  • Each week we’ll delve into important matchups, news and events, and Miami’s prospects against these opponents. By providing you with this information you’ll be a smarter fan come game day.

The ACC is prone to meme-worthy scenes such as Beamer celebrating a 0-0 finish or page 145. This post will be your source for all things #GoACC – hilarious gifs, memes, and what have you.
