On Wednesday afternoon, news broke that Miami Hurricanes Freshman PF Dewan Huell had been arrested.

After the whole Mark Walton situation, which ended up being dismissed and contrary to what was initially reported by several media outlets and the Miami Police Department, I think taking a wait-and-see approach with this situation is the prudent course of action.
Huell attended local Miami Norland HS, and was a 5-star prospect by all recruiting services. The 6’11” 220lb Huell is one of the highest rated recruits ever to sign with Canes Basketball, and would be in line for a large role on this year’s team.
