Watch Some Pro Canes
I write a Pro Canes piece every Sunday, but just a quick reminder: We are NFL U. Watch some of your favorite Pro Canes take the field on Sunday.
You can watch some former Canes baseball stars shine in the MLB if you’d like. You can see Yasmani Grandal and the Dodgers take on the Rockies in a four game series that starts Thursday and ends Sunday. Grandal made news for sitting out two games due to elbow pain, but he stated that his arm is fine.
Former Cane, Yonder Alonso, recently made headlines thanks to a 2-run pinch double that helped the A’s beat the Royals. Oakland has a three game series with Texas this weekend.
For Miami Locals
For my Canes fans who call Miami, or South Florida, home, you can check out anything on this list if you need some weekend plans.
On Wednesday you can do Hatha Yoga at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. For the artists out there, there’s always Free Art Friday.
There’s an interesting exhibition, “Beyond the Game: Sports and the Evolution of South Florida”, coming up this weekend. This is where you’d probably find me if I were down in the Dade. They’re even highlighting the rise of The U and Sebastian The Ibis will be there.
For Those Who Can’t Get Enough Of Canes Football
Here are some listings, courtesy of TV Guide.
You can re-watch the App State beatdown, Friday.
If you want to watch some future Canes shine, here are some high school games worth watching this weekend.
