Pro Canes Preview

It’s Sunday. It’s Pro Canes Preview time.

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

This Pro Canes Preview will be brief, but it will keep you up to date with anything worth knowing about former Canes who are in the league.

Calais Campbell

The Cardinals’ d-end will be in Buffalo taking on the Bills. The hope is that he can thrive against a team that needs a lot of help. Campbell and the Cardinals can get a win, and probably force the Bills to can head coach Rex Ryan. He's definitely on the hot seat.

Allen Hurns

The Ravens know that they have a lot on their plate this week. They'll have to find a way to cover Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson. Still crazy to think Hurns was an undrafted free agent. Last season, the Ravens held Hurns to 62 yards on five catches.

Andre Johnson

Not much to note here, but Raiders QB, Derek Carr, hopes to swap jerseys with former Cane great, and future hall of famer, Andre Johnson.

Duke Johnson

The Miami native is coming home for the Browns showdown with the Dolphins. Johnson expects a big turnout of family and friends. Last game against Baltimore, Johnson only carried the ball three times, for 12 yards.

Sam Shields

Just a little update on Shields injury status: Shields is trying to take care of himself after having sustained a concussion. This is his fourth concussion. He recently was examined by an ‘‘off-site specialist’’.

...And that's all folks!
