Week 3 in the NFL was a success for multiple reasons. First, MY RAVENS ARE 3-0! Second, more Canes made their presence felt this past week with multiple ProCanes scoring touchdowns.
Jimmy Graham
Welcome back! Graham had a great day for the Seahawks in a win over the 49ers. The All-Pro tight caught TWO touchdowns in his emphatic return to form, while totaling 100 yards on six catches. He also included this highlight reel-worthy grab in double coverage:

And up to his old tricks.

It will be fun watching Graham this season as he returns to his former self after coming off an injury.
Frank Gore
I swear Gore doesn’t age. The veteran RB scored his first rushing touchdown of the season on Sunday, his second touchdown in as many weeks (last week was a receiving touchdown). Another positive from Gore’s score?
Most Rushing TD Since 2011 Among Active @NFL Players:

Cam Newton - 45
Adrian Peterson - 45
LeSean McCoy - 39
Frank Gore - 36
With all of the young(er) talent in the league, Gore still sits atop this list even though he is in the latter half of his career. Future HOFer? Sure looking like it, IMO.
Duke Johnson
In a homecoming for the second-year back, Johnson greatly contributed to the Browns potential win over the Dolphins. However, the Browns were being the Browns and lost, falling to 0-3 on the season. This is the second week in a row where the Browns held a lead in the second half and failed to win.
#proCane #Browns RB Duke Johnson had 81 yds vs #Dolphins, 69 rushing on 10 carries & 12 yds on 5 rec.15 touches were most since Wk 5 last yr

Yeah...I think Cleveland should keep finding ways to get Duke the ball.
Other News
A position change for former Canes receiver Herb Waters!
WR -> DB. #NFLU Good luck @herbwaters6! 3 #proCane DBs now on #Packers https://t.co/lrJGnxYVxF
— proCanes.com (@proCanes) September 23, 2016
The Packers clearly like Waters’ upside on the defensive side of the football. This is something that the Packers decided to do with former Cane and current teammate Sam Shields, who became an All-Pro corner for Green Bay. Waters was an explosive receiver for the Canes during his time in Coral Gables, so it will be interesting to see his development as a DB.

Two former ProCanes will be inducted in the the UM Sports Hall of Fame! Former New York Football Giant tight end Jeremy Shockey and RB James Jackson will be among nine 2017 inductees forever immortalized in UM Athletics. Congrats to the both of them!
That’s all from this week for the ProCanes, tune in next Monday for more news on our ProCanes!
