Bad news, ‘Canes fans.....

From UM:

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football team announced today that redshirt freshman linebacker Jamie Gordinier will miss the remainder of the 2016 season after he suffered a knee injury yesterday during the Hurricanes’ season opener against FAMU.

What it means: An already very thin Miami LB Corps is even thinner. The three freshmen, Shaq Quarterman, Michael Pinckney, and Zach McCloud will be counted on even more. Darrion Owens should be back at some point, fortunately. Players like Charles Perry, Terry McCray, and Mike Smith will be asked to do more. This is not good news at all, especially coming off the dismissal of Jermaine Grace. Things may get very, very uneasy if anyone else among the LB Corps gets hurt. Stay tuned.
