In a move that came days after Miami’s 31-14 win in the Russell Athletic Bowl, junior QB Brad Kaaya has declared for the 2017 NFL draft.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of my journey, I will be a Miami Hurricane for life!— Brad Kaaya (@BradleyKaaya) January 3, 2017
From the Press Release from Miami Athletics:
“While I am looking forward to pursuing my future endeavors, I am going to miss our fans, media, students, administrators, coaches, families, and most importantly my teammates, who were with me through the good times and the tough times,” Kaaya said.
Kaaya leaves Miami as the all-time leader in Passing Yards (9,968), completions (720) and attempts (1,188).
Many NFL analysts have Kaaya projected as a top 2-3 round pick, and that’s what led him to decide to declare for the draft. The 6’4” Los Angeles, CA native will now take his talents to the professional level.
Thank you Brad. Wish you all the best as you move on to the NFL.
