National Signing Day is right around the corner and the ‘Canes are in the mix for a few high caliber recruits. As we wait to see who will declare for Miami, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit the recruiting battles the ‘Canes have won in recent years.

2016 Class

4-Star WR Ahmmon Richards committed to Miami over Alabama and Auburn. As a freshman, Richards made impactful plays, in place of Lawerence Cager, who was injured prior to the start of the season.

2015 Class

4-Star WR Lawrence Cager committed to Miami over Alabama, Georgia and Virginia Tech. This one surprised a few people.

3-Star DB Sheldrick Redwine committed to Miami over Louisville, and he made it suspenseful.

2013 Class

4-Star WR Stacy Coley committed to Miami over Florida State

4-Star DE Al-Quadin Muhammad committed to Miami over Alabama and Notre Dame.

2012 Class

5-Star CB Tracy Howard committed to Miami over Florida

4-Star Deon Bush committed to Miami over Alabama and Auburn.

4-Star DE Tariq McCord committed to Miami over Georgia and South Carolina.

There should be some additional videos to add to this on Wednesday. Stay tuned!
