On Saturday afternoon, just minutes before the Miami Hurricanes were slated to face the Syracuse Orange in an ACC game, 2019 DT Denzel Daxon verbally committed to the Canes.

At 6’3” 305lbs, Daxon has good size for DT. He didn’t wait long to commit to Miami, as he was offered a scholarship by the Canes just last week at the Georgia Tech game.
Currently attending Miami (FL) Norland HS, which is just blocks and walking distance from Hard Rock Stadium, Daxon adds size to Miami’s 2019 recruiting class. He joins DTs Derrick Hunter and Renato Brown in this class, and is the 7th total commit for the Canes in 2019.
