Let’s see how #Storm18 fared in week 9 of HSFB action.

Lorenzo Lingard, University (Orange City)

In an otherwise dreadful 49-20 loss to Lake Mary, Lingard put his talent on display. He scored the first points of the night for University and ended up with two TDs and 143 yards along the way.

Brevin Jordan, Bishop Gorman (NV)

Brevin Jordan and Bishop Gorman just keep obliterating the local competition. In a fourth straight shut-out, the Gaels took care of business against Durango (NV), 55-0.

Artur Sitkowski/Brian Hightower, IMG Academy (Bradenton)

IMG Academy rode onward to another win as Sitkowski continues to ride the bench in favor of Zack Annexstad. A bright spot for the duo is the play of WR Brian Hightower, who caught a 28 yard pass for a TD in this 43-19 win over East (UT).

Mark Pope/Daquris Wiggins/Delon Scaife, Miami Southridge

The trio of Miami commits had a good day last Thursday, beating Homestead, 41-12. They will be back in action this Friday against CB DJ Ivey and South Dade.

John Campbell, Dr. Phillips (Orlando)

Dr. Phillips is getting back on track after an early October skid. The Panthers are on a two-game winning streak after a 35-8 beat-down against Freedom (Orlando).

Cam Davis, Miami Carol City

Following a tough loss to Miami Northwestern, Carol City needed to recover quickly. They did just that against Booker T. Washington last Saturday on the road with a big 39-7 win. Davis had a nice 32 yard TD run in this one.

Al Blades Jr., St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale)

St. Thomas Aquinas got the win last week in convincing fashion, defeating Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes), 38-14. The Raiders moved to 7-1 on the season.

Gurvan Hall, Palm Beach Gardens

Newly selected Under Armour All-American Gurvan Hall came up short against Wellington last week, losing 20-17.

DJ Ivey, South Dade

South Dade had a difficult time getting the ball into the endzone last Friday, amassing only 7 points in a 17-7 loss to Miami Palmetto.

Will Mallory, Providence (Jacksonville)

A healthy Will Mallory is a scary sight. Despite the crushing 40-39 loss to Trinity Catholic (Ocala), the TE had a great game. He finished the night with 11 catches for 193 yards. He also added two TDs on the night.

Nesta Silvera, American Heritage

American Heritage is now 7-0. The Raiders delivered in a 47-9 win over Miami Jackson.

Gregory Rousseau, Champagnat Catholic

Champagnat Catholic took a tough loss at the hands of University School (Fort Lauderdale) last week, 27-15. The Lions’ record now sits at 6-2.

Josh Jobe, Cheshire Academy (CT)

Cheshire Academy moved to 6-0 on the year after a close victory over Clarkson (Ontario), 28-26. This week, the Cats will face Bishop Sullivan (VA) in Virginia Beach, VA.

Bubba Baxa, Pasadena Memorial (TX)

After their open-date, Pasadena Memorial got back into action in a 30-24 win over South Houston (TX). They will play Pasadena High School (TX) this Thursday.

Not in action: Gilbert Frierson, Coral Gables, Cleveland Reed, Fort Meade
