Miami Hurricanes Recruiting: Recruit Recap from HSFB Week 10

Week 10 of HSFB brought the heat

Let’s dive right into the Week 10 action.

Lorenzo Lingard, University (Orange City)

Unfortunately, University continues to take a rough slide, this week losing to Spruce Creek (Port Orange), 49-34. A bright spot, though, as usual, was the play of 5-star RB Lorenzo Lingard. He had another huge game with 106 yards on the ground and 92 over the air. He finished with two rushing TDs in the loss.

Brevin Jordan, Bishop Gorman (NV)

This is getting old, but Under Armour All-American Brevin Jordan and the Gaels will take it: a 43-0 win over Las Vegas foe Sierra Vista (NV).

Mark Pope/Daquris Wiggins/Delon Scaife, Miami Southridge

vs

DJ Ivey, South Dade

In a match-up of four (!!!!) Miami commits in one game, it was lock-down CB DJ Ivey who left with the W (14-7). However, big-time WR Mark Pope was able to see the endzone once against Ivey before the night ended, with a 33 yard TD catch.

John Campbell, Dr. Phillips (Orlando)

Dr. Phillips had another great week, this time beating Cypress Creek (Orlando), 37-7.

Cam Davis, Miami Carol City

Carol City was unable to move the win-streak to two games after falling to Miami Central, 26-13.

Al Blades Jr., St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale)

St. Thomas Aquinas advanced to 8-1 in convincing fashion, defeating Blanche Ely (Pompano Beach), 35-6.

Gurvan Hall, Palm Beach Gardens

The Gators’s tough season (haha) keeps getting tougher after falling to Palm Beach Central (Wellington) 14-0 to drop to 3-6.

Gilbert Frierson, Coral Gables

The Cavaliers did not have enough to beat Columbus (Miami) last week, losing 21-7.

Cleveland Reed, Fort Meade

After their open date, Fort Meade got right back into it and beat Victory Christian (Lakeland), 16-8. They will play at Frostproof on Friday.

Will Mallory, Providence (Jacksonville)

Will Mallory had another strong game, and this time Providence got the win, 46-20 over Atlantic Coast (Jacksonville). Mallory finished with 6 receptions for 94 yards and a TD.

Nesta Silvera, American Heritage

American Heritage continues to dominate the competition after crushing Hallandale (Hallandale Beach), 44-0.

Josh Jobe, Cheshire Academy (CT)

In what was a tough test, Cheshire Academy fell to powerhouse Bishop Sullivan (VA) on the road, 47-20.

Bubba Baxa, Pasadena Memorial (TX)

Pasadena Memorial moved forward once again last week, beating Pasadena (TX), 52-13.

Not in action: Artur Sitkowski/Brian Hightower, IMG Academy (Bradenton), Gregory Rousseau, Champagnat Catholic
