On Thursday afternoon, the Miami Hurricanes released the injury report for week 6 at Florida State. It reads as follows:
Miami Football Injury Report
Miami at Florida State
October 7, 2017
QUESTIONABLE: DL Anthony Moten (lower extremity)
OUT FOR SEASON: LB Jamie Gordinier (knee)
So, that’s it. Gordinier is out for the year with a torn ACL, which we already knew.
The addition to the injury report this week is DL Anthony Moten. Questionable is better than doubtful, and Moten will be needed up front to add depth and talent to Miami’s DL as they head to Tallahassee to face Florida State.
Notably absent from the injury report are RB Mark Walton and WR Ahmmon Richards. Both star players have dealt with injuries so far this year — Walton with a rolled/stepped on ankle and Richards with a pulled hamstring — but, according to the released injury report, both will be full-go for this week’s game. And that, my friends, is good news.
