State championships for #Storm18 coming up

The remainder of #Storm18 is balling out to finish their high school careers.

Brevin Jordan, Bishop Gorman (NV)

Bishop Gorman continues its playoff push, last week cruising past Liberty (NV), 35-13. Brevin Jordan was once again productive, going for 57 yards on 7 catches and a TD. The Gaels will now play in the State Championship game for Nevada on Saturday afternoon against Reed (NV).

John Campbell, Dr. Phillips (Orlando)

Dr. Phillips refuses to end their season after defeating Riverview (Sarasota), 28-19. Campbell’s team will play Wekiva this Friday in the Florida state semi-final.

Cam Davis, Miami Carol City

In Miami Carol City’s anticipated rematch with rival Miami Northwestern, the Chiefs came up short, falling 23-15. Cam Davis has played his final game with Carol City after having a very solid senior campaign.

Al Blades Jr., St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale)

St. Thomas Aquinas had no problem with Doral Academy, beating the Firebirds 48-6. Al Blades Jr. will play Venice on Friday.

Nesta Silvera, American Heritage

In an ultra-competitive game, one of the first for American Heritage, the Patriots emerged on top, 58-57 over Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale). Silvera will play Immokalee on Friday.

Gregory Rousseau, Champagnat Catholic

A second-straight shutout for Champagnat after beating Cambridge Christian (Tampa) 38-0. The Lions will face off against University Christian on December 8.
