Starting off the week on Wednesday Nov 22nd in Reading, PA. Freshman guard, McDonalds All American and 6A Pennsylvania Player of the Year Awar Lonnie Walker IV was back home where he played high school basketball to play against La Salle University.
He was greeted very pleasantly by his fans, friends, and family in the airport.

As fans started to roll into Santander Arena, many were wearing Reading High School state championship shirts. Walker, the local kid who brought this town a state championship did not play like that championship player he was in his high school days.
He was held to just five point and 2-8 form the field as him and the rest of the team struggles in all areas. Miami would go on to win ugly by a score of 57-46, with Dewan Huell leading the way with 16 points and Miami stayed perfect at 4-0.
The Canes would travel back home to play University of North Florida Saturday Nov. 26th. Bruce Brown Jr. finally showed some signs of life scoring 14 points as Miami pulled off the victory 86-65.
A projected first rounder had a bad showing at La Salle shooting 2-9 from the field but picked it up by shooting 7-15 and seven rebounds against UNF. Anthony Lawrence with 14 points, Dewan Huell ended with 13 points, Ja’Quan Newton sunk 12 points and Chris Lykes finished with 10 points.
Miami gets set to play Minnesota on Wednesday Nov. 29th in the BIG10/ACC Challenge in Minneapolis, MN at 9:00 p.m.
