Miami Hurricanes Recruiting: Recruit Recap from HSFB Week 11

Lorenzo Lingard, University (Orange City)

Lorenzo Lingard has played his final game with University, and he went out in style. In the midst of a 48-18 dominating win over Deltona, he rushed for 230 yards and 5 TDs on top of that.

Brevin Jordan, Bishop Gorman (NV)

New opponent, same result. The Gaels knocked off Palo Verde (NV), 59-0. Jordan added an 86 yard TD in the blowout.

Brian Hightower, IMG Academy (Bradenton)

IMG Academy faced a tough test last week in a battle with Hoover (AL). In one of the closer games of the year, IMG went home with a 32-21 win.

Mark Pope/Daquris Wiggins/Delon Scaife, Miami Southridge

Miami Southridge got a big win last week against Dr. Krop, 24-6.

John Campbell, Dr. Phillips (Orlando)

Dr. Phillips advanced the winning streak to 4 games with their 35-14 win over Timber Creek (Orlando).

Cam Davis, Miami Carol City

Carol City is hot going into the playoffs, coming off of a 46-0 shut-out vs American (Hialeah). They will face Dillard this Friday.

Al Blades Jr., St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale)

St. Thomas Aquinas suffered their second loss this season to drop to 8-2. The defeat came by way of Miramar, 44-27.

Gurvan Hall, Palm Beach Gardens

Palm Beach Gardens’ had a rough year, capitalized with a 31-14 loss to Park Vista (Lake Vista) last Friday.

Gilbert Frierson, Coral Gables

Coral Gables took home a nice win over Southwest Miami, 38-0. Frierson scored on a 36 yard TD reception in this one.

DJ Ivey, South Dade

South Dade’s defense, courtesy of DJ Ivey, continues to dominate as the year nears end. The Buccaneers beat Miami Edison, 35-0.

Cleveland Reed, Fort Meade

Fort Meade was unable to make up lost ground last week in a tough 33-28 loss to Frostproof.

Will Mallory, Providence (Jacksonville)

Providence closed out the up-and-down 2017 season with a 46-20 victory against Atlantic Coast (Jacksonville).

Nesta Silvera, American Heritage

Nesta Silvera and American Heritage keep dominating. Undefeated (9-0) and on to bigger things after a 37-0 win over Coconut Creek.

Josh Jobe, Cheshire Academy (CT)

Chesire Academy was tasked with facing Royal Imperial Collegiate (Ontario), who they beat 2-0.

Bubba Baxa, Pasadena Memorial (TX)

Michael Badgley’s replacement is having a fine senior year, even if not incredibly active. His squad defeated La Porte (TX), 35-17
