Braxton Berrios has been one of the most successful student-athletes to ever attend the University of Miami. He has shown to be an absolute force on and off the field. In the month of December, he has been recognized for both his play on the field, and his work in the classroom.
ACC Jim Tatum Award
Braxton Berrios was the first person in University of Miami history to take home this prestigious award. Berrios is set to graduate in December with a Double Major in finance and entrepreneurship and will graduate with a 3.96 (he got one B+ on a group project). Very rarely do you see such success on and off the field from a student-athlete, and Braxton should be very proud of this honor.
He’s just meeting his own personal standard.

This is an award given to a graduating senior that has exceled on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. This award shows the all-around person that Braxton has become during his time in Miami. Braxton won a Pop Warner National Championship in fifth grade playing for the Capital City Steelers, now Pop Warner is recognizing Berrios’ amazing accomplishments.

Reese’s Senior Bowl
From a pure football standpoint, this is the most important award for his playing career. Every year the top seniors in the NCAA go to this bowl game and get to show off their skills in front of a handful of NFL scouts. While most are there to watch the top draft eligible guys, this is a chance for players that fly under the radar to make an impression on scouts. If Berrios can put on a show against some of the top talent going into the draft, it could help raise his draft stock entering the draft.
Pleased to announced I've accepted the invite to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl!
