The game of basketball has shifted toward a three-point centric game, and Miami was thankful for that tonight at the American Airlines Arena.
It was bombs away for DJ Vasiljevic as he went 5-7 beyond the ark to lead the team with 20 points.

One thing the coach Jim Larranaga has stressed is the battle on the boards. Miami has struggled at time with rebounding. But tonight they were able to win the rebounding battle by a full 8 grabs, something Coach L will be pleased about.
Miami was also improved from the charity stripe. The Canes still have a lot of work to do, but going 6-9 isn't bad.
“The defense was very, very good, and once we got it together defensively we were able to score too,” Larranaga told ESPN after the game.
The Hurricanes look to stay unbeaten against Boston University on Tuesday night.
