Canes Hoops Stays the Same in the AP Poll

Despite a signature win, Hurricanes basketball doesn’t move up in the polls

NCAA Basketball: Princeton at Miami Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Hurricanes men’s basketball team is ranked No. 10 in the latest Associated Press poll released on Monday.

Miami remained at 10 despite its big non-conference win over Minnesota, now ranked No. 14 in the AP poll. The Hurricanes also beat the Princeton Tigers on Saturday night.

Duke remains No. 1 in the country and they received all 65 number one votes. Miami is one of five teams in the top 25. All five of the ACC teams are actually in the top 15 of the poll.

The Hurricanes have one game this week as they will host Boston University on Tuesday, November 5, 7 p.m. at the Watsco Center.
