The Miami Hurricanes added yet another top tier recruit to their top ranked 2018 recruiting class on Sunday afternoon when 4-star TE Brevin Jordan committed to the Canes.
Just days after taking an unofficial visit to Miami, Jordan has publicly committed to Miami, the team long thought to be his recruiting leader. Seems like that visit he took last week was kind of good, no?
A standout 6’3” 257lb player from Las Vegas (NV) Bishop Gorman HS, Jordan is a dynamic player at Tight End who can impact the pass and run games with his varied skill set. Jordan caught 27 passes for 501 yards and 9 TDs as a junior for Bishop Gorman, and could eclipse those numbers this season.
One of the top players at this position in this class, Jordan adds a playmaking pass catcher at TE that any team could use. Jordan picked Miami over 29 other offers, including Michigan, USC, and UCLA. He is the first TE commit in the 2018 class for Miami, and the 16th commit overall.
For a better idea about the kind of player Miami is getting in Brevin Jordan, here are HLs from the season and Nike’s The Opening regional.
