Welcome to the U, Brieon Fuller

Miami keeps the recruiting momentum going with the commitment of an elite 2019 WR.

2019 Doral (FL) Academy WR Brieon Fuller is the latest player to commit to the Miami Hurricanes.

The Miami Hurricanes kept adding to their impressive recruiting haul today when 2019 Doral (FL) Academy WR Brieon Fuller committed to the Canes.

A top 150 player in his recruiting class, the 6’1” 170lb Fuller is a playmaker at the receiver position. Well known on the 7v7 and camp circuit, he’s equally as productive with pads on as well. In the 2016 season, Fuller totaled 19 catches for 442 yards and 7 TDs. As a HS Sophomore. That, my friends, is damn good.

This commitment isn’t a surprise to those who follow recruiting. Don’t believe me?Ok. Proof, then:

Believe me now?

Fuller has been vocal about his love for the University of Miami in the past, and has visited campus numerous times, including for the invite-only Junior Day in February. The Canes were always in front in this recruitment, and that is what led to today’s commitment.

Since he’s a rising junior, Fuller doesn’t have that many offers at current. He committed to Miami over 7 other offers, including Georgia, Kentucky, NC State, and West Virginia (who routinely offers every player in FL with a pulse, it seem). While the low scholarship offer numbers are true at current, I fully expect Fuller to be a 20+ offer kid by the time his senior year rolls around. He’s good, REAL GOOD, and even with him being committed to Miami, other teams will offer him scholarships. Book it.

But, while others may be tardy to the party, Miami has been out in front with their offer and recruitment of Fuller, and that paid off in today’s commitment. Fuller is the 3rd commit to Miami’s 2019 recruiting class. He joins Miami (FL) Southridge LB Diamante Howard and Mount Dora (FL) Christian Home and Bible School LB Jesiah Pierre as the commits in that year’s class.
