64 Days to Miami Hurricanes Football: Top Cane to wear 64

64 days!! It is getting very close. 64 days is like 2 months plus a couple days. In 5 days we will be in the 50’s. I am starting to hydrate now for 64 days from this exact moment. A 12:30 kickoff against Bethune Cookman means exactly 64 days from now I will be in the West lot killing my liver with 60,000 of my closest friends.

Jason Fox wore number 64 at Miami for 3 seasons from 2006-2008. In 2006 as a freshman Fox started 11 of 13 games. He played left and right tackle at different points in the season. As a freshman Fox did not allow a single sack. He was named to numerous Freshman All-American teams and a few All- ACC teams. He was named the offensive rookie of the year by the team.

As a sophomore he started every game at left tackle. The coaches graded him out at a 96 for the season. That was the highest on the team.

When Fox was a Junior we all pretty much knew it was going to be his last season with the Canes. He did not waste that year at all. He even scored a touchdown vs in-state rival FSU and made 1st team All-ACC.

After his junior year he left for the NFL where he was drafted in the 4th round by the Detroit Lions. He also played one season with the Miami Dolphins.

Who do you think was the best player at Miami to wear #64? Tell us in the comment section.
