On Wednesday evening, University of Miami President Julio Frenk released the following statement regarding the FBI probe into corruption, money laundering, and wire fraud in connection to NCAA Basketball recruiting:

President Frenk’s statement confirms that while the University of Miami (noted as “University-7” in the complaint) nor any staff member was named in the complaint, there is an ongoing investigation regarding the connection between a basketball coaching staff member and a high school recruit.
As I said in my explainer piece from today, people put names out there regarding the recruit in question and were unequivocally wrong. So, too, have people put the name of an assistant coach out there on Twitter. Same as I did with the recruit, I will refrain from putting any name out there, on site or social media, until it has been confirmed.
