Miami Hurricanes head coach Mark Richt named Malik Rosier the Canes’ starting QB for next week’s game at Boston College.
Mark Richt just said Malik Rosier is starting against Boston College. “Right this minute I think Malik is better equipped to lead this team right now.”— Susan Miller Degnan (@smillerdegnan) October 17, 2018
This is dumb. N’Kosi Perry is clearly the better option, but Malik Rosier has a level of support and confidence from CMR that is not afforded to Perry, a more talented and better player.
I’ve written plenty of words deriding this move, and the conservative mentality used to make it, but coach obviously feels differently for whatever reason, so Malik Rosier is back under center for the Canes.
The Miami Hurricanes are off this week, and travel to face Boston College on Friday, October 26th.
