ProCanes NFL Recap: Week Seven

It was another great week for former Canes tight ends and Lamar Miller reestablished himself as an offensive threat. Check out how all of the ProCanes performed in week seven.

Carolina Panthers 21 - Philadelphia Eagles 17

Panthers TE Greg Olsen may have only had 2 catches for 5 yards, but his second catch was a big one, capping off a 21-point fourth quarter which saw Carolina come back from a 17-0 deficit:

Los Angeles Chargers 20 - Tennessee Titans 19

The Chargers had a trio of Canes help them grab a victory in London. Linebacker Denzel Perryman led the team in tackles on the day with 8, and added a pass deflection to go with a big interception in the first half:

Kicker Michael Badgley remained perfect for the second straight game, converting both of his field goal attempts to go with 2 extra points:

Wideout Travis Benjamin returned to the lineup after last playing week 4, and had 1 catch for 13 yards.

Indianapolis Colts 37 - Buffalo Bills 5

Colts TE Erik Swoope had a touchdown reception in his third straight game, as the former basketball player has established himself as a redzone threat in Indy’s offense:

DE Al-Quadin Muhammad had a tackle for the Colts defense as they held the Bills offense to only 5 points.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26 - Cleveland Browns 23

Cleveland TE David Njoku continued his recent string of success with another solid performance, hauling in 4 receptions for 52 yards and this touchdown:

Browns RB Duke Johnson Jr caught 4 passes of his own for 23 yards.

Detroit Lions 32 - Miami Dolphins 21

Dolphins ageless RB Frank Gore toted the rock 10 times for 29 yards and added a 4-yard reception, but the dolphins were unable to keep up with the Lions.

New England Patriots 38 - Chicago Bears 31

Pats WR Phillip Dorsett caught his only target for 8 yards in New England’s victory over Chicago.

Bears P Pat O’Donnell boomed 4 punts for 173 yards.

Houston Texans 20 - Jacksonville Jaguars 7

Texans RB Lamar Miller scored his first rushing touchdown of the season as a part of his 22 carry, 100 yard gashing of the Jaguars defense:

Jags DE Calais Campbell lead the team in tackles on the day with 9 in the Jacksonville loss.

Minnesota Vikings 37 - New York Jets 17

Jets rookie TE Chris Herndon found the endzone for the second-consecutive week, finishing with 4 receptions for 42 yards and this touchdown:

Washington Redskins 20 - Dallas Cowboys 17

Dallas WR Allen Hurns had his best game of the season, catching 5 balls for 74 yards in the Cowboys loss.

Los Angeles Rams 39 - San Francisco 49ers 10

Rams CB Sam Shields contributed 2 tackles to their outstanding defensive effort, holding Niners QB CJ Beathard to only 170 passing yards and an 11.2 QB rating.

Niners S Adrian Colbert finished with 1 tackle in the loss.

Kansas City Chiefs 45 - Cincinnati Bengals 10

Chiefs DL Allen Bailey had 2 tackles for a Chiefs defense who produced their best output of the season.

Bengals RB Mark Walton had 4 carries for 10 yards .
