** Miami’s win over Florida State made a lasting impression on all the recruits in attendance. It is being said that kids were recruiting one another and that the atmosphere topped last year’s Notre Dame game. Kudos to you, Miami Hurricanes fans, for creating a true home-field advantage.

** Miami’s win over FSU makes it the third straight year that the Hurricanes have gone on a five-game winning streak.

** Gerald Willis III and Jonathan Garvin are two of just five players nationally with over 11 tackles for loss on the season. They each have 11.5 through six games.

** Miami Palmetto DB Cornelius Nunn Jr. decommitted from Syracuse Monday morning.

He then tweeted out a Miami edit. It seems like the Hurricanes are in a good position to land his commitment.

** Virginia, Miami’s next opponent, is standing at 3-2 through five games. Their wins have come against Richmond, Ohio and Louisville while their losses have come against Indiana and NC State.

** The Cavaliers offense is led by quarterback Bryce Perkins who has thrown for 1,125 yards for 11 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 63.5% of his passes. Perkins has also ran for 341 yards and three touchdowns.

** Olamide Zaccheaus leads the Cavaliers receiving corps and is one of the most dynamic players in the ACC. He has caught 33 passes for 501 yards and six touchdowns.

** As a unit, the Cavaliers are averaging 30.2 points per game and allow 20.4 points per game.

** Miami is averaging 41.5 points per game and are allowing just 18.5 per game.
