On Sunday afternoon, Miami’s 2019 recruiting class got a bit smaller when Altamonte Springs (FL) Lake Brantley ATH Damarius Good decommitted from the Canes.

A player with great speed who plays offense at the HS level, Good was recruited to Miami to transition to CB in college. Good has had a very solid senior season, being a dangerous weapon for Lake Brantley, and a threat to score every time he touched the ball.
Now that Good has decommitted, Miami’s class has 16 players committed. Of that group, only 3 are DBs — S Keontra Smith, CB Te’Cory Couch, and CB Jarvis Brownlee.
Miami has a need for depth and talent at DB (and all positions) in this recruiting class, so it will be interesting to see which players Miami targets to acquire those things.
We wish Damarius Good all the best in his future endeavors. More on Miami Recruiting in the coming days.
