Gameday at Blacksburg. Some info for ya’ll before the Canes try to break the streak

NCAA Football: Miami at Virginia Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

It’s gameday, folks. A matchup that looked like an ACC Coastal championship game in the preseason is now a duel between two teams with broken dreams mired in disappointment. Miami will battle Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, with both teams nursing dreadful losing streaks. The U’s sits at four while the Hokies’ have lost three in a row. Miami can’t score, VT can’t play defense. Somethings got to give right?

Before we fire up the tailgates and settle in in front of the big screen for the game, here are some last-minute news and notes from around SOTU and the world wide web.
