For the 3rd year under Head Coach Mark Richt, the Miami Hurricanes are Bowl Eligible after winning their 6th game, a 38-14 beatdown of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.

Now bowl eligible, Miami is in with 9 other ACC teams with 6+ wins on the year. Those teams will vie for the ACC-affiliated bowl slots for 2018, and hope for an at-large bid if one of the ACC bids doesn’t go their way.

While Miami won’t be in a premium bowl game this year, making a bowl is still a positive accomplishment, and the additional practices alone make it worthwhile.

Congratulations to the Canes on getting to bowl eligibility. Now, let’s put together a couple more strong games and end the year on a 3 game winning streak.
