Miami Hurricanes Recruiting Radar: LB Anthony Solomon decommits from Miami, flips to Michigan

This was a long time in the making

In a move that shocked no one since it had been rumored for several weeks at this point, Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas 4-star LB Anthony Solomon decommitted from Miami and flipped to Michigan on Sunday evening.

This is a loss for Miami, to be sure. But I’m not going to cry over it. Solomon wanted to leave South Florida for college, and he’s doing it by going to Michigan, as had been rumored and reported multiple times.

Miami now has 2 LB commits in this class: 4-star Avery Huff, Solomon’s teammate at Aquinas, and Miami (FL) Northwestern standout Sam Brooks, who just recommitted to Miami yesterday.

There are options at LB that Miami may pursue, or they could go forward with 2 commits at that position in this class.

We wish Anthony Solomon the best in his future endeavors.
