The Miami Hurricanes added size to their 2019 recruiting class today when Middle Village (NY) Christ the King 3-star OT Adam ElGammal committed to and signed with the Canes.

ElGammal’s signing was announced by Miami on Instagram.

Formerly a Cincinnati commit, ElGammal decommitted from the Bearcats after taking an Official Visit to Coral Gables last weekend. There were reports when Miami first engaged with ElGammal that, if offered, he would surely flip to Mark Richt’s team. Those were proven true by today’s signing.

An NYC native, ElGammal is a former basketball player with good size. At 6’5” 275lbs, he has a big frame, good length, and can continue to add size and strength to pair with his developing skills.

ElGammal is the 3rd OL in this class. He joins OT Zion Nelson and OC Jakai Clark up front for Miami in this class.
