Though Miami Football still has a lot of contention around it, Jarren Williams changing course and deciding to stick with the team has lifted some of the dark, stormy clouds that rapidly descended on the team. That alone won’t fix the Canes’ problems but it’s certainly a welcomed decision.
That isn’t the only thing on ours minds on this Saturday, just five days before a Big Apple-flavored rematch with Wisconsin! Without further ado, here’s some news and notes for ya’ll.

The athletic department has acknowledged that N’Kosi Perry posted an “inappropriate video” on social media, but wouldn’t say if it would affect his status in the bowl game. Perry has made bad decisions before, specifically with video, and it’s been widely speculated that Richt’s tepidness to give him a longer leash with the starting role was because of this. That brings us to another Miami QB, who might be under center taking meaningful snaps sooner than we thought...
Jarren Williams is staying in South Florida. A collective sigh of relief reverberates across Canes Nation. And if you’re still unsure, no. 15 has solidified his commitment on Twitter.
