Good Morning Canes Familia,
We’re just under three weeks away from the 2018 Pinstripe Bowl taking place in Yankee Stadium. Before that game even happens, we’re less than two weeks away from Early Signing Day set for December 19th. Strap yourselves in, because this rollercoaster of emotions is not quite through.

Butler graduate transfer offensive tackle Tommy Kennedy has scheduled an official visit to Miami set for December 14-15. Kennedy was an unheralded prospect out of Lake Forest, Illinois. Kennedy has started 22 consecutive games for Butler at left tackle. The Hurricanes were the first Power 5 program to offer the left tackle. The 6’5”, 290 pound tackle has seen his stock skyrocket since declaring his intentions to be a graduate transfer.

The UM coaching staff was out in full force on Thursday, paying a visit to touted DE Derick Hunter. A 6’5, 285 pound edge rusher, Hunter is currently committed to FSU. If the Canes can swing the four-star Dunbar HS product, it would be a huge get for the 2019 class.
