Reggie Wayne had a marvelous career at Miami playing 4 years at The U, racking up some impressive numbers and setting school records. The University of Miami has already recognized Wayne and his achievements by inducting him into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.
His stellar collegiate career got Wayne drafted in the first round by the Indianapolis Colts where he spent his entire 14-year career. Wayne was a big part of some of the most explosive offenses the NFL has ever seen, and saw his fair share of individual accolades. He was named to 6 Pro Bowls and even led the NFL in receiving yards in 2007. Wayne also helped the Colts capture a Super Bowl title in which he hauled in a touchdown to help the Colts beat the Bears in Miami.
Wayne will become the 15th inductee in the Ring of Honor which includes former Hurricane, great Edgerrin James, who was inducted in 2012. We are happy to see Reggie Wayne getting the recognition that he deserves, and the Hall of Fame could be next.
One of the best to wear the orange and green, is headed into the @Colts Ring of Honor.
